The dreaded P…

Question:

I’ve not tried the brazil nut a day cure lol..but I have noticed that if I shampoo my hair with the Body Shop’s Brazil Nut Shampoo and use the Conditioner that my scalp psoriasis seems to improve. Bye..hey! I’ll give anything a try once…wonder if it matters whether they’re chocolate brazils?? lol

Response:

My wife has recently started me off on a brazil nut a day (apparently they provide a daily dose of selenim) plus a zinc supplement. It’s not a cure but I’ve noticed an improvement… anyone else experienced something similar mac

You can get selenium pills too but the brazil nut is tastier. I observed a couple of years ago that adding fresh (break them out of the shell myself) nuts seemed to help a bit, as some diet items do.  I tried more nuts, but saw no further improvement.  They supply some essential fatty acids, too, and further help me not eat other foods which might aggravate the p. So, yes, I noticed a small improvement along those lines.   (I tried zinc supplements and saw no improvement, possibly I absorb a significant amount of zinc from using Head and Shoulders shampoo as a body wash) As always, FWIW.
