Hi.  I have had pustular p on my hands and feet.  Thank goodness it hasn’t appeared anywhere else.  It started on my big toe several years ago and worked its way along the sides and soles of my feet.  My hands didn’t show any signs until about a year later. I have tried nearly everything my derm could think of.  Very little helped.  I was very lucky to have my hands clear after having my tonsils removed, though I still have a mild flare once or twice per year.  The only thing that helped my feet was MTX, which I stopped taking in November of last year.  It worked for several months, but my feet are now covered again and it is spreading to the tops of the feet. I am currently doing absolutely nothing.  I use a moisturizer when my skin itches, and I switched laundry soaps.  I no longer wear ‘closed’ shoes, as I find I flare less when I stick to sandals. I hope you find something that works for you.  Pustular p on the feet can be painful.  Good luck. Janet Before you buy.

Hi, I am just wondering if somebody can give me more details about Pustular P.?  Before yesterday (I was reading it somewhere in this newsgroup) I didn’t even knew that kind of  P. existed. A month ago it started on the flat sides of my feet and two weeks ago I had it on the inside of my hands.  The derm. told me it’s psoriasis and the pharmacist said no… because she never saw that kind of P. in her life. She gave me some strong selfmade cream that didn’t help alot and only dried it out a little bit.  Starting last week it’s now also starting on the inside of my lips (mouth) as well as on the inside of the female ones below… It even started in the hair now.  I came back home yesterday from the new visit to the derm. with a lot of lotions and creams .  Also together with all of this I have a lot of pain in the shoulders and breastbones that possible can be the type of rheumatical P.  I will have more details about this from the rheumatologist tomorrow. Does anybody has the same type of P.?   Could doctors do anything about it? Could you?  All information is welcome even in Dutch (flemish) Gerda

Hi You can find out more from the following page from the US National Psoriasis Foundation web site. http://www.psoriasis.org/psortype.html I use an essential oil based treatment to keep my pustular p. at bay. Richard. — It works better if you plug it in.
